More traffic woes: 2 lanes of 80 West closed until 2 pm today

The two left lanes on Route 80 West in the vicinity of Exit 37 in the Denville-Rockaway area will be closed until 2 pm today, according to TransOptions, the transportation agency for northern New Jersey.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has also issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Morris County beginning about 1 p.m. today, which could further worsen driving conditions in the area. Snow and sleet will turn to rain after 2 a.m., according to the service.

Accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible, especially at higher elevations.
