Coffee Chat informs Madison Town Tours

Staff Report

MADISON – We've heard from a number of readers through the first week of Daily Record's Town Tours Madison, but there's nothing like meeting with people face-to-face to learn more about a town.

Monday morning, Local Editor Eva Abreu and reporter Michael Izzo held a "Coffee Chat" at Drip Coffee on Main Street in Madison, and spoke with residents to better inform our Town Tours series.

Among those who stopped by, Abreu and Izzo spoke with Marc Dunec (D) who is running against incumbent congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen (R) to represent New Jersey's 11th district in Washington D.C., Deborah Farrar Starker, President of the Madison Arts & Culture Alliance, and Carmela Moeller, former President of the Rotary Club of Madison.

We learned more about the issues, clubs, hot spots, and upcoming events in Madison, many of which we plan to focus on for Town Tours at the end of the month.
