The temperature is expected to remain in the 30s but wind will also be a factor. Winds of 5 to 15 mph will be accompanied by gusts of up to 25 mph.

Visibility is expected to be "greatly reduced" during the snow, adding to travel difficulties.

In Madison, police suspended all overnight parking permissions for this evening. No vehicles are to be left on any borough street. The measure was taken so plows can effectively remove the snow.
