Jersey Sports Rant will preview Jets on Tuesday

It’s Week 3 of our new New Jersey-centric sports talk show and it’s time to preview the local teams from the National Football League.

Jets beat reporter Chris Lopresti of WFAN will join the Jersey Sports Rant with Joey Wahler on Tuesday in advance of this weekend’s season-opening home game against the Oakland Raiders. Giants and Eagles are also expected to be topics later this week.

In addition to the NFL talk, Rutgers beat writer Ryan Dunleavy will review the Scarlet Knights’ thrilling victory at Washington State last week, while Monmouth running back KB Asante — fresh off his Big South Offensive Player of the Week honors — will call in to discuss the Hawks’ dominant Week 1 win.

The Jersey Sports Rant with Joey Wahler debuted two weeks ago with a focus on the Garden State sports scene. Guests have included Kyle Flood, Kevin Callahan, Eric LeGrand and Jay Paterno, among others.
