Sparky Lyle joins Jersey Sports Rant on Wednesday

A Yankees and Central Jersey baseball fixture will be a guest on the Jersey Sports Rant with Joey Wahler on Wednesday.

Sparky Lyle will join the interactive online sports talk show to discuss efforts to speed up the game that are currently being tested with the Somerset Patriots and the rest of the Atlantic League. And with NFL season in full swing, author Sean MacDonald will join us to discuss his new book, "Ultimate Football Road Trip."

The Jersey Sports Rant with Joey Wahler debuted last month with a focus on the Garden State sports scene. Guests have included Kyle Flood, Kevin Callahan, Jay Paterno, Ken Daneyko, Morgan Hoffmann and Steve Timko.
