Morris County is filled with magnificent mansions, boasting fabulous features from palatial pools to breathtaking bathrooms.

Growing up in Jersey, I looked forward to driving around classy communities each holiday season admiring the lights and decór.

It was fun to fantasize about touring those homes and to imagine what they looked like behind closed doors.

This feature gives readers the chance to step inside a "Mansion on the Market" and take a peek at what's behind the price tag.

BEHIND CLOSED DOORS: The mansion at 9 Miller Drive, Boonton Township, sits on 1.87 private acres and is priced at just under $1 million. There are six bedrooms, 8½ baths and seven fireplaces throughout. The master suite features walk-in closets and a balcony overlooking the yard and his-and-her private baths with a Jacuzzi tub, stall shower, double sink and ceramic tile.

COOKING WITH CLASS: The state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen has Italian marble, top-line appliances, an espresso and cappuccino maker, center island with sink and a breakfast room.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: A private gate leads to a circular paver driveway. There is a library, hot tub, exercise room, sauna, garden room and a four-car garage with private rooms above and a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Bask inside a heated pool, surrounded by a built-in barbecue and tennis court.

STEP INSIDE: For more information, contact listing agent Janet Juliano of Keller Williams Metropolitan Realty, 973-445-5651.
