Jersey Sports Rant will preview Giants on Wednesday

The Jersey Sports Rant with Joey Wahler previewed Gang Green on Tuesday. Now it’s time for Big Blue.

Giants Radio Network reporter John Schmeelk will call into the new online sports talk show on Wednesday to preview the Giants season, which begins in Detroit on “Monday Night Football.”

Other guests will include Red Bank Catholic high school football coach Jim Portela and player Mike Demonte, who will be on hand to discuss the scholastic gridiron. Toms River East pitching star turned professional beach volleyball player Ryan Doherty will join the show to discuss the AVP Atlantic City Open this weekend.

The Jersey Sports Rant with Joey Wahler debuted two weeks ago with a focus on the Garden State sports scene. Tuesday’s guests included Jets beat reporter Chris Lopresti of WFAN, Rutgers beat writer Ryan Dunleavy and Monmouth running back KB Asante.
