Teresa Giudice’s Ocean County home sold for $100.

Teresa Giudice of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" is currently serving a 15-month prison sentence for crimes of bank and wire fraud.

But now, she's been able to lighten her load just a little bit.

Last spring, it was announced that Giudice's canal-front home on Sylvia Lane in Manahawkin would be auctioned off by the Ocean County Sheriff's Office. The auction was originally planned for May 19, but it was postponed to Aug. 18.

Bidding was to start at just $100.

Giudice and her husband, Joe, bought the home in 2005 for $347,000 and listed it last year for $315,000. It has five bedrooms and two bathrooms and was renovated before and after superstorm Sandy.

Teresa Giudice is currently serving a prison sentence.

The home has been in foreclosure and the Giudices owe $348,000 to HSBC Banks, according to TMZ.

So what happened at the long-awaited auction?

Nobody bid on the property, according to a NJ.com report, so the mortgage holder, America's Servicing Company, bought back the property for the minimum bid of $100.

The Manahawkin Shore home made news last weekend, when Stafford police officers were called to the property after Joe got into a "heated argument" with a neighbor, according to TMZ. Gia Giudice, Joe's 14-year-old daughter, had been locked out of the home, and when her father let her inside, started screaming at Gia. That's when the neighbor intervened.

No arrests were made.

Joe was sentenced to prison with his wife last year, but due to the age of their children, he will begin serving his 41-month term once his wife is released.
