At 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Morristown officers responded to a call about an unconscious person and found a deceased man behind the Sushi Lounge, located on Schuyler Place.

The man was later identified as Oscar Alberto Romero, 23, formerly of Honduras but recently having no consistent residence, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp and Morristown Police Chief Peter Demnitz announced.

The cause and manner of death are pending as of Wednesday afternoon, but the prosecutor said there does not appear to be any risk to the general public.

No additional information was released Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators from the Morristown Police Department, the  Prosecutor's Office and Morris County Sheriff's Office worked for several hours behind the restaurant Tuesday. The Sushi Lounge is in a row of businesses on Schuyler Place that includes Tito Burrito's, a title search company, a barbershop and Morris County Republican Committee headquarters.
