Spend Valentine’s Day weekend with Megan Hilty.

Hilty and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra Pops, that is. The Broadway and television star is set to headline a special Valentine’s Day program Friday, Feb. 12 at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, as well as Saturday, Feb. 13 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark and Sunday, Feb. 14 at the State Theatre in New Brunswick.

The NJSO’s Todd Ellison will conduct.

6 sweet spots for Valentine's Day dessert

Hilty is currently starring as Brooke Ashton in “Noises Off” on Broadway and on Bravo’s “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce.” She’ll sing favorites from Broadway musicals and the American Songbook here in Jersey.

Tickets are $20 to $90 for the performance. For an additional $14, you can pick up a rose and a “delicious” chocolate sampler. They’ll be available for pick-up in the lobby beginning one hour before the shows.

Yup, love is in the air this week — and on area stages. Here are several more highlights:

Romeo & Juliet in Red Bank

What is sounds more like love than Prokofiev’s Romeo & Juliet Suite?

Not much. The Monmouth Symphony Orchestra will be perform the music of the ballet along with Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll and Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy, Op. 46, at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Count Basie Theatre.

Carolyn Wong will be on violin and Lucian Rinando will conduct. An afternoon of the music of star-crossed lovers seems like an appropriate way to spend Valentine’s Day.

Monmouth Symphony Orchestra presents Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet Suites, 3 p.m. Sunday, Count Basie Theatre, 99 Monmouth St. Red Bank. $35/$30 for seniors/$5 for children. 732-842-9000; www.thebasie.org.

Say Uncle. Uncle Floyd.

Uncle Floyd Valentine’s Day

What says Valentine’s Day in Jersey more than an Uncle Floyd show?

Uncle Floyd Vivino — the Jersey legend who David Bowie, the Ramones and Dramarama paid tribute to in song — will present his take on Valentine’s Day Sunday at the Stanhope House in Stanhope.

Maybe Oogie and Bones Boy will bring chocolates? Flowers?

Uncle Floyd’s Valentine’s Day Show, 8 p.m. Sunday, Stanhope House, 45 Main St., Stanhope. $10 in advance/$15 in cash at the door/$10 food and beverage min. stanhopehousenj.com.

Hunter Valentine so long

It’s ladies first — and last — at the Hunter Valentine show tonight at the Saint in Asbury Park. The Toronto all-gal rocker foursome are calling it a day after its current tour.

“The farewell tour isn’t goodbye forever; it’s just a see you later,” said drummer Laura Petracca to the New Haven Register. “We individually have other projects we would like to go after and want to be able to give it our 100 percent.”

So, in the words of the Bard, parting will be such sweet sorrow. And a great rock show, too.

Hunter Valentine with Tara Elliot and The Red Velvets and special guests, 7:30 p.m. Friday, the Saint, 601 Main St., Asbury Park. $12. www.thesaintnj.com.
