Troopers seize 600 folds of heroin on Route 80 in Roxbury
ROXBURY - State Police from the Netcong station have charged two residents of Binghamton, New York, with possession of 600 wax folds of heroin after a stop of their vehicle Tuesday on Route 80.
Jamie Guadagno, 29, and Unlee Sauveur, 32, were arrested around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to the State Police.
Trooper Pawel Dabrowa stopped Guadagno, a woman, in a BMW sedan at milepost 28.4 for a moving violation. During the stop, Dabrowa discovered 12 wax folds of heroin and a marijuana cigarette inside the car, the State Police said. Guadagno and Sauveur, a male, were arrested and taken to the Netcong station to be processed, the State Police said in a Facebook post.
As troopers removed Sauveur from the back of the troopers' car at the station, they discovered a bag containing 600 wax folds of heroin in the back seat, police said.
Guadagno was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. She was held in the Morris County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Sauveur was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute and possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. He was held in the jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
