STANHOPE – The Just Jersey Food Truck and Music Festival will return to Waterloo Village next month, and Eleventh Hour Rescue will be on-site accepting adoption applications.

It will be the first of two scheduled food truck festivals at the Historic Waterloo Village Concert Field this summer and gates will open at 10 a.m. on May 7. Parking is free and admission is $5 in addition to food and beverage purchases.

This year’s festival will feature more than 25 truck featuring a variety of cuisines.

There will also be a craft beer and sangria bar featuring drinks from Captain Lawrence, Brooklyn Brewery, Ommegang, Forgotten Boardwalk and Señor Sangria.

Music will be provided by three New Jersey bands. Folk-rock duo The May Darlings will get the morning started and play from 10 am to 12:30 p.m. followed by the cover band Till Now, who will play until 3 p.m. The cover band Stereo Junkies will close the evening out, playing until 6 p.m.

Vendors for kids will include painting and an inflatable obstacle course.

Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged, as are pets as long as they are on leashes. Watering stations will be provided on the concert grounds.

Eleventh Hour Rescue, a Morris County-based dog and cat rescue, will be on-site accepting donations. They will also bring dogs for attendees to meet, and adoption applications will be available.

The second scheduled food truck festival at Waterloo Village is scheduled for June 18 and will feature a fireworks show.
