DOVER – One day after a car crashed into its entrance, the Quiet Man restaurant on the corner of Route 46 East and Hudson Street was open for business.

The restaurant is open for normal business hours for lunch and dinner, operating out of the pub area of the restaurant, according to announcement on the restaurant’s social media platforms.

“At this time, we can accommodate tables of up to four people. Additionally, we are continuing to offer take-out so please don't hesitate to call 973-366-6333,” read a statement attributed to the Quiet Man Family on the restaurant’s Facebook page. “As always, we appreciate your support and patronage.”

The accident happened before the Quiet Man was open for the day and no staff members or customers were injured.

Three teenage males were seriously injured in the accident Wednesday, which happened just before noon.

A black Volkswagen Jetta sedan traveling east on Route 46 made a sudden turn directly into the Quiet Man entrance, located just off the roadway. The three teenagers were all taken to the hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Nobody else was injured in the accident, which remains under investigation.

The Quiet Man entrance sustained heavy damage, forcing the restaurant to close. The restaurant has been updating followers on its Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts over the last day. Check Quiet Man Pub on social media for more updates from the restaurant.
