$1 million lottery ticket sold in Florham Park

One lucky New Jersey Powerball player woke up this morning one million dollars richer after matching the five white balls selected in the Wednesday, Feb. 11, drawing.

The $1 million dollar ticket was purchased in Morris County at Florham Park Liquors, 184 Columbia Turnpike, Florham Park, according to a news release. There were also 10 other New Jersey Powerball ticketholders who took home a third place prize of $10,000.

The $10,000 winning tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Burlington County: Country Farm, 2911 Route 73 So., Maple Shade;

• Hunterdon County: Quick Point Deli & Convenience, 8 Reading Rd., Flemington;

• Middlesex County: Main Liquor, 533 Main St., South Amboy;

• Middlesex County: Quick Chek #2, 191 Stelton Rd., Piscataway;

• Middlesex County: Wegmans Food Markets Inc., 15 Woodbridge Center Dr., Woodbridge;

• Monmouth County: Rugmill Deli & Convenience, 20-A Jackson St., Freehold;

• Morris County: Minute Mart, 3 Netcong Rd., Budd Lake;

• Ocean County: Minit Stop, 440 Chandler Rd., Jackson;

• Ocean County: 7-Eleven #11039 (S), 217 Route 70, Lakehurst;

• Somerset County: The Wine Rack, 572A Allen Rd., Basking Ridge.

“Congratulations to all of these fortunate lottery players who purchased the winning tickets and to the retailers who sold them,” the Lottery’s Executive Director Carole Hedinger said in a news release. “For selling all of the winning tickets, these retailers have become many more of the Lottery’s ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”

If the million dollar ticketholder chose to add the Power Play feature, which costs an additional $1 with your Powerball ticket purchase, then the winnings would have doubled to $2 million, while the third place winners would have each won $30,000. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are approximately 1 in 32, according to the Powerball’s website.

The winners of the jackpot prize of $564.1 million were located in North Carolina, Texas and Puerto Rico.

The winning numbers were: 11, 13, 25, 39 and 54. The Red Power Ball number was 19. The Multiplier number was 03.
