President of Drew University MaryAnn Baenninger joined students on the lawn during the protest, followed by a student march in solidarity down Madison Avenue.

Drew students also planned to protest Saturday in New York City and Washington, D.C.

Earlier in the week, dozens were arrested in London for staging a die-in at a mall and 150 medical students at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine staged a die-in in Baltimore.
