Two sought after raid at Denville home

DENVILLE – Two township residents are being sought after a search warrant was executed and police recovered drugs and a gun.

Raymond Letsche, 22, of Denville, turned himself in at Denville Police headquarters Tuesday, after a warrant had been issued for his arrest on Jan. 5.

After a month long investigation into the sale of marijuana, the Denville Police Department executed a search warrant at a Riverside Drive East home on Dec. 30 and found marijuana, steroids, drug paraphernalia and two air rifles, according to a press release from CrimeStoppers.

As a result of the investigation, arrest warrants were issued for Stephen Rubino and Raymond Letsche who both remain at large, the release said.

A warrant has been issued seeking the arrest of Stephen Rubino, 23, of Denville. He is facing charges that include possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, illegal possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm during a drug offense.

Rubino, 23, is facing charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon during a drug offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Letsche, 22, is facing charges of possession of controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. At this time, both subjects remain at large and the Denville Police Department is seeking any information as to their current whereabouts.

A third man, Michael Letsche, 26, was arrested at the Riverside Drive East home and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance.
